This course is a four-hour workshop providing Licensed Insurance Providers a better understanding of numerous topics relating to Underwriting.
- The first objective is getting an application issued with all the attendant chores associated with the application process. Completely fill out all the details, contend with paramedics and doctors,
- The second objective is to guide attendees through the medical testing procedures, underwriting processes in addition to provide a thorough understanding of medical terminology. This ranges from blood, and/or urine testing, to pulmonary functions, etc.
- A third major objective is for all to comprehend some of the more arcane aspects of underwriting, such as inspections and investigations, financial underwriting, extreme nonmedical risk, underwriting for disability income and finally special situation emanating from immigrants, international residents and older people who might have different lifestyles.
